Yes, spinal decompression therapy (IDD) is FDA-cleared and considered a safe, gentle, and non-invasive treatment option. Each session is carefully customized by a qualified practitioner to match your body type, diagnosis, and comfort level. There are virtually no side effects aside from mild soreness that usually resolves quickly.
IDD Therapy is a non-surgical spinal decompression treatment designed to relieve back and neck pain caused by disc problems such as herniation, degeneration, sciatica, or facet joint issues. It uses a computer-controlled system (Accu-SPINA) to gently stretch and decompress targeted spinal segments, allowing nutrients and oxygen to flow back into the discs and promote healing.
Each session takes 25-30 minutes and includes:

A typical treatment plan,
Most patients begin to feel noticeable relief after 6-8 sessions, with long-term improvements seen by the end of the program.
Patients typically do not feel any pain during IDD Therapy. The treatment is gentle and relaxing, in fact, many people become so comfortable that they fall asleep during their session. The decompression force is precisely calibrated to a safe proportion of your body weight, ensuring the treatment is specific to you and unlikely to cause discomfort. Each session is carefully adjusted to your progress, with the decompression forces gradually increased over time based on your history and how your body responds.
After your session, a cold compress is applied to help minimise any post-treatment soreness. Some patients may experience mild tenderness similar to what you might feel after a massage or hands-on treatment, but this typically eases as your treatment course progresses and your spine begins to heal.
Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy that focuses on restoring balance, mobility, and function throughout the body. It works on the muscles, joints, and spine to relieve pain, improve posture, and support natural healing.
